In 2018, I went on a green woodworking course and learnt how to carve a spoon using just three simple tools. I was immediately hooked by the simplicity of the craft; the connection with the natural world; and the connection with our ancestors.

 

Since then, I've carved 100s of spoons and learnt to make a variety of other products such as benches, fences and gates.

I sell my work (occasionally) and offer workshops. I've taught people at festivals and have done outreach work with a local charity.
